ETR is not only an event planning business. It’s also a family affair!

We (Dianne and Michelle Martin) started ETR in 2008 after we both realized our passion for entertaining and attention to detail. After working together to plan Michelle’s 2007 wedding to Dianne’s son, George II, we teamed up to open our business. 

We have over twenty years combined experience in event planning. Our services range from conceptualization through design and execution. Our work has benefited numerous charitable organizations as well as private and corporate clients.  We have hands-on-expertise and personal attention that is the keystone of our reputation.  We have organized both large scale and intimate special events at well-known venues as well as non-traditional event spaces. Our attention to detail combined with distinct organizational skills foster our expertise in all aspects of special events planning.  Our commitment to finding the right resources at the right prices for each specific client is a valuable asset that we bring to each event.

Dianne grew up in Napa Valley, California and moved to New Jersey 35 years ago after her husband, George Martin, was drafted by the New York Football Giants. Dianne is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, B.A. in Business Management. Following her education she was the Executive Director at New Hope Development Day Care Center Corp. before founding ETR.

Michelle, who was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Following her education, she had a career as an Attorney for five years. But in 2008, she was ready to pursue a more creative area of work when this new opportunity came along.
